AML Compliance Officer Course: KYC, CDD, SAR, 180+ Tools

Course Details
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence
180+ tools for an AML program that needs documents, owners and recorded decisions.
Eight working files connect the officer role, risk assessment, customer checks, screening, monitoring, investigations and board reporting.
When the program lives in separate inboxes
The policy exists, but the risk assessment has no clear evidence trail. A customer review, screening alert or partner-bank request starts another search for the right record. Meanwhile, the same missing approvals and unresolved actions return in the next management meeting.
A visible record of the work
A connected set of documents gives each activity an owner, an evidence record and a next decision. The customer rating connects to the review plan; the monitoring rule connects to its threshold test and workload; the investigation connects to its decision note. Management reporting draws on those records, with customer and report details kept under the appropriate confidentiality controls.
The instructor and the source basis
Mike is an HR leader and academy founder with 20 years in HR. He is the #1 HR instructor on Udemy and the author of about 200 books on Amazon. In this PapaHR Academy course, he brings the primary-source requirements together as working documents and a connected teaching scenario. The AML content is drawn from official standards, legislation and guidance; his management and teaching background informs how the responsibilities and records are organized.
What the tool count includes
The inventory contains 186 counted tool entries, rounded down to 180+ in the title. It counts formats: a file container, its editable working parts and a usable slide version can cover the same practice. This does not mean 186 separate downloads or distinct methods.
8 interactive HTML working files, including: Business-Wide Risk Assessment; CDD and Risk Rating Desk; Monitoring Scenario Library; Investigation and SAR Desk.
63 editable working parts inside those files, including: Ownership calculator; PEP file; Threshold test; Narrative builder.
115 ready-to-use slide bundles in the lecture decks, including: Officer mandate checklist; Customer risk rating sheet; Threshold change record; Board report structure.
36 templates and document outlines, including: Officer role description; Customer risk rating sheet; Enhanced review approval memo; Investigation case file.
23 checklists and validation rules, including: Control evidence checklist; Remote identity verification checklist; Annual screening test checklist; Report narrative quality checklist.
24 question lists and communication scripts, including: New-product risk questions; Source of funds request; Customer information reminder; Payment delay response bank.
17 registers, maps and decision tables, including: Program element and owner map; Residual risk and action matrix; Sanctions list register; Customer segmentation table.
5 formulas and calculations, including: Exposure-weighted category score; Weighted control strength; Explained wealth gap; Screening workload and match rates; Analyst demand and capacity.
10 procedures and action plans, including: First officer action plan; Customer due diligence workflow; Enhanced due diligence workflow; Alert investigation workflow.
Each complete checklist, script bank, table or usable document outline counts once. Repeated demonstrations, source links, definitions, metaphors and export controls do not increase the count. Models explained, such as the stages of money laundering and risk-based assessment concepts, are discussed separately and add zero extra entries. Some full texts are available through links in the HTML slide source; those link-only versions are excluded from this count for the standard PDF-and-tool materials.

One fictional example connects all eight lessons: an EU-licensed electronic money institution providing accounts and international payments to small businesses and freelancers. Its officer, Dana, coordinates the program and its records. The company, customers and example sanctions entry are fictional; example numbers illustrate the documents and calculations, rather than client results.
First comes the role and program map. The business-wide assessment then supplies the basis for customer checks and enhanced reviews. Screening and transaction monitoring follow, with alert investigation and report drafting after that. The final lesson brings the annual plan, training, independent review preparation, retention checks and management report into a continuing program.
The course covers how to establish and run an AML program using FATF terminology; it does not prepare you for CAMS or other certification exams.
This course is educational and is not legal advice; requirements vary by jurisdiction.
The course uses FATF as its common reference and distinguishes EU, US and UK sources. National licensing, general compliance programs, fraud investigations, detailed sanctions licensing, commercial system configuration and in-depth crypto-asset or trade-finance controls are outside its scope. Course scoring scales, example thresholds and internal targets are teaching assumptions, clearly distinguished from legal requirements.
What’s included

Start with the missing record
The next customer review, alert or management request creates work whether the document is ready or not. Another month of scattered records repeats the same search. Open the officer role and program map, record the first gap and give its next action an owner.
