SAFe for Architects (ARCH 6.0) Practice Exams 2026

Course Details
Preparing for the SAFe for Architects (ARCH 6.0) certification exam? Reading the course material is one thing. Applying it under time pressure to questions about Architectural Runway, PI Planning, Solution Intent and DevOps is another. These SAFe for Architects practice exams give you three full-length, timed mock exams so you can check what you really know before you sit the official exam.
What this course is
This is a practice-test course for the Certified SAFe® Architect exam, based on SAFe 6.0. It contains:
3 full-length practice exams
45 questions per exam – 135 questions in total
90 minutes per exam, matching the official exam timebox
An explanation for every answer option – why the correct answer is right and why each of the other options is wrong
A "Learn more" reference to the relevant article on the official SAFe framework website, so you can go straight to the source for any topic you want to revisit
There are no video lectures. The course is built entirely around exam-style practice and learning from the explanations.
Why practise with these exams
The ARCH exam tests judgement, not just definitions. Many questions describe a situation – a risk found in management review, a Product Manager questioning Enabler capacity, a legacy system to modernise – and ask what the Architect should do. These mock exams use the same style, so you get used to reading a scenario, spotting the SAFe principle behind it and choosing the best answer.
Every option is explained. When you get a question wrong, you see exactly why your choice was not the best one. When you get it right, you confirm your reasoning. That turns each test into a revision session, not just a score.
Exam areas covered
The questions are organised by the five domains of the official ARCH 6.0 exam study guide:
Agile Architecture and SAFe – attributes of Agile architecture, the Architect roles (Enterprise, Solution and System Architect), collaboration with other roles, and applying SAFe Lean-Agile principles such as taking an economic view and assuming variability
DevOps and Release on Demand – a DevOps culture and CALMR, the Continuous Delivery Pipeline, and architecting for Continuous Exploration, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and Release on Demand
Architecture with Business Value – Strategic Themes, the portfolio canvas and Portfolio Vision, operational and development value streams, ARTs and Solution Trains, Enabler Epics, Solution Vision, Solution Context and Solution Intent, NFRs and the Lean QMS, and roadmaps
PI Execution – preparing for and contributing to PI Planning, management review and problem-solving, Pre-Plan, guiding architecture during the PI, Iteration Reviews, System and Solution Demos, and Inspect & Adapt
Leading during a Lean-Agile Transformation – Lean-Agile leadership behaviours and leading the move to Agile architecture
How to use the practice exams
Take Practice Exam 1 under exam conditions. Set aside 90 minutes and answer every question without notes.
Review every explanation, including those for questions you answered correctly.
Note your weaker areas and revisit them using the "Learn more" references and your SAFe for Architects course materials.
Move on to Practice Exams 2 and 3 and compare your results.
Retake the exams until you score 100% on all of them on your own and can explain why each answer is right, not just which option it is.
Use your results here as a guide to where you need more revision, not as a prediction of your exam score.
Who this course is for
This course is for professionals who have attended, or are attending, the SAFe for Architects course and want structured practice before the exam. That includes System Architects, Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects and technical leads working in SAFe organisations. It assumes you already know the basics of SAFe; it is a revision and self-assessment tool, not an introduction to the framework.
About the instructor
This course was created by a certified SAFe SPC and enterprise consultant who works with SAFe, Scrum and wider Agile frameworks at practitioner and coaching level, including on large-scale transformation programmes. The questions and explanations are written from that practical experience and checked against official SAFe 6.0 guidance.

This is an independent practice-test course. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Scaled Agile, Inc.
