Training Effectiveness: Measure Learning Impact at Work

Course Details
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence
Your training report says people attended. Can it show what changed in their work?
When a result moves, can you tell leadership how much the training may have contributed?
Feedback and completion figures are easy to collect. They rarely answer the question that arrives when a leader decides whether to keep funding a program: what happened on the job? A result may improve while the team, process or customer mix changes too. Without a clear starting point and consistent records, the report can claim more than the evidence supports, or miss a useful change altogether.
This course follows one workplace learning program from the first business question to a decision for leadership. The work starts by choosing one job outcome and drawing a boundary around the people and cases that count. You then establish the starting value, observe a specific workplace action and plan when and where the next records will come from. The result is a trail that another person can inspect, repeat and question.
With those records in place, a before and after comparison becomes more informative. A similar group can add context, while differences between groups and changes in the work environment remain visible. You examine other plausible explanations before writing a recommendation. The aim is a decision whose wording matches the strength of the available evidence, including the cases where the right next step is to collect a missing record.
Mike created and teaches the course. He has 20 years of human resources experience, including work at Wargaming and Preply. He is the founder of PapaHR Academy and the #1 human resources instructor on Udemy, with more than 2,000,000 Udemy students. The course uses a practical sequence of artifacts rather than an unsupported claim that a changed number proves training caused it.
First you define the result and baseline. Next you capture behavior and prepare a collection plan. Then you compare periods and groups, check what else could explain the result, and use artificial intelligence to inspect the supplied figures and draft a one-page recommendation. You verify every calculation and claim against the underlying records before presenting it.
What's included:
Lifetime access to all course materials
Instructor support through Udemy questions and answers
Udemy Certificate of Completion
An assignment and interactive browser tool for each of the eight lessons
An outcome card, baseline table, observation sheet, collection plan, comparison tables, explanation register and one-page decision form
A section with additional courses, tools and resources
The next decision about a program may arrive before anyone has agreed on what to measure. Starting with one outcome and one source now gives you a clearer answer when that conversation happens. Enroll now and start your first lesson today.
